Meet Our Founder
Terrica Maura, also known as "Ms. T", is a powerhouse from Miami, Florida, with over 20 years of dynamic experience in the performing arts. Her journey began at the heart of Miami’s African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, where she first discovered her love for movement and expression. A proud graduate of Dillard High School’s prestigious Dance Division in 2006, Terrica earned a full scholarship to the renowned New World School of the Arts College, where her passion for choreography truly ignited.
Trained by industry legends such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Summer Camp in New York , Bates Dance Festival in Maine, Shannon Haynes of Diva Arts, Peter London , Hannah Baumgarten and Traci Young. Terrica’s commitment to the arts is unwavering. She has graced the stage and created breathtaking choreography for some of the biggest names in music, including Trick Daddy, Brianna Perry, YRB, and Trina, as well as schools and organizations like Dillard High, Michael Krop Sr. High School and Santa Monica College in Los Angeles to name a few.
Driven by her passion for empowering youth, Terrica uses dance, modeling, etiquette, mentoring, and community services to inspire young men and women to discover and embrace their inner and outer beauty. In 2023, she celebrated the 14th anniversary of Diversity Performing Arts Center, a thriving hub for creativity and artistic growth.
In addition to her studio, Terrica founded No Dancer Left Behind, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to South Florida’s youth, ensuring financial hardship doesn’t stand in the way of talent. With an unshakeable commitment to shaping the next generation, Terrica continues to use her skills to make a lasting impact in her community, leaving a legacy of empowerment and opportunity.

Meet Our Competition Team Director
Hello, my name is Travonna or Coach T. I am the founder of House of Divine Dance Company and a partner with Diversity Performing Arts Company, serving Broward County and Port St. Lucie, Florida. In addition to my work in dance, I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in adaptive dance therapy for children with disabilities, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
My passion for dance led me to open my own studio in 2017, creating a space where dancers can develop their skills, confidence, and love for the art. With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in Majorette, flexibility, and technique, helping dancers refine their craft and reach new heights.
I take pride in guiding young dancers toward success, many of whom have gone on to attend HBCUs and prestigious performing arts schools. Coaching is more than just a profession for me—it’s my passion and my peace. Seeing my dancers grow, achieve their dreams, and find joy in movement is what drives me every day.
At House of Divine Dance Company and Diversity Performing Arts,
we don’t just teach dance—we build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for the art.
